The Silicon Power DS72 is a compact dual-interface USB flash drive offering 1 TB of storage in a matte black metal casing. Advantages

The drive supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds with manufacturer‑quoted read speeds up to 1050 MB/s and write speeds up to 850 MB/s, enabling rapid transfer of large files. Dual connectors (Type-C and Type-A) provide wide compatibility with modern laptops, tablets, smartphones and desktop PCs. The metal housing offers durability and a compact form factor, and the flip cap protects the connectors when not in use.

How to use

Remove the flip cap and insert the appropriate connector (Type-C or Type-A) into the target device’s port. The drive functions as an external storage device and requires no additional power. Use your operating system’s file manager to copy, move or stream files. When transferring large files, allow the transfer to complete before removing the drive to avoid data corruption. Replace the flip cap after use to protect the connector.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term use, operate the drive within the host device’s supported USB specification and avoid abrupt removal during transfers. Keep a backup of critical files; external flash storage is convenient but should not be the sole copy for important data.
