How to use

Use the HELLE Eggen 12C27 as a general-purpose outdoor knife for controlled cutting and carving tasks. Grip the stainless steel handle firmly and apply steady pressure when slicing or carving to maintain blade control. For food preparation, clean the blade between different ingredients and use smooth slicing motions to protect the edge. When working with wood or tougher materials, avoid twisting motions that could stress the blade or handle; instead use controlled cuts and short strokes. Store the knife dry and clean to preserve the blade finish and prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Regularly clean and dry the knife after use, sharpen with appropriate stones or tools for 12C27 stainless steel, and inspect the handle and sheath for secure fit before each outing. Use protective gloves when performing heavy-duty tasks and avoid prying or using the knife as a pry bar to prevent damage.
