Veiligheidsbril Uvex 9198257 blauw grijs

uvex pheos cx2 safety glasses (Uvex 9198257) combine a modern, sporty design with protective features for everyday industrial use. The lens is made of polycarbonate for impact resistance and lightweight wear. A soft component directly connected to the lens protects against dust and water while the uvex X-tended Eyeshield adapts to the wearer’s face to ensure a wide field of vision and reliable UV 400 protection. These glasses are certified to EN 166 and EN 170 and are available in blue and grey.

Advantages

The uvex pheos cx2 provides an anti-fog inner coating and an extremely scratch- and chemical-resistant outer surface (uvex supravision excellence). A directly moulded forehead and nose piece increase comfort and seal against particles and splashes. Slim arm geometry allows compatible use with ear defenders, helmets or bump caps, while x-twist side arm technology secures a non-slip fit during movement.

How to use

Place the glasses so the soft seal sits comfortably against the forehead and nose, ensuring the lens and seal fully cover the eye area. Adjust the arms to a secure but comfortable fit; the slim geometry allows wearing ear defenders or a helmet over the arms. Clean lenses with a soft cloth and a manufacturer-recommended lens cleaner to preserve coatings and optical clarity. Store the glasses in a protective case when not in use.

Recommendations

Use these safety glasses for tasks requiring impact, splash and UV protection. Replace the glasses if the lens is damaged or coatings are significantly worn. For chemical environments, verify compatibility with specific substances before prolonged exposure.
