Veiligheidskabel EUROLITE B, 6 x 1000 mm, belasting tot 35 kg

EUROLITE B safety rope, 6 x 1000 mm, rated for loads up to 35 kg, is a compact secondary attachment designed to prevent accidental falls of lightweight lighting fixtures and stage accessories. The rope features a 6-strand construction and a 1000 mm length that make it suitable for use as a secondary safety line in event rigs, lighting trusses and installation points where extra fall protection is required. It is intended to serve as a reliable backup connection between fixtures and support points, helping to reduce the risk of dropped equipment during setup, operation or maintenance.

Advantages

The EUROLITE B safety rope combines straightforward design with practical functionality: a six-strand construction provides consistent tensile properties, while the 1000 mm length offers sufficient reach for most small fixtures and accessories. Rated for loads up to 35 kg, it is lightweight and easy to store, handle and fit in confined or crowded rigging environments. Its compact dimensions make it convenient for professional event technicians who need an unobtrusive yet dependable secondary attachment.

How to use

Install the safety rope as a secondary attachment in addition to the primary suspension or mounting hardware. Secure one end to the fixture’s dedicated safety point or approved anchor, and attach the other end to a certified structural point on the truss, beam or mounting bracket. Verify that attachment points and connectors are compatible and rated for the intended load. Ensure the rope is routed without sharp bends, abrasion against edges or pinching. After installation, perform a visual inspection and a gentle load check before use to confirm correct attachment.

Recommendations

Use the EUROLITE B safety rope only as a secondary safety device, not as the primary load-bearing suspension. Regularly inspect the rope for signs of wear, chafing or damage and replace it if any defects are found. Do not exceed the specified maximum rated load of 35 kg. When in doubt about compatibility with specific fixtures or rigging systems, consult a qualified rigger or follow venue safety procedures.
