Veiligheidsschoenen Uvex 85162 unisex volwassenen zwart rood polyurethaan microvelours

uvex 1 x-tended support safety shoes (model Uvex 85162) combine lightweight construction with protection class S3 to support daily work activities. The shoes feature a micro velour upper and a dual-density polyurethane outsole, with breathable lining and removable comfort insole for extended wear. They are metal-free, include a xenova® protective toe cap and a non-metallic penetration-resistant insert, and comply with EN ISO 20345:2011 and ESD requirements.

Advantages

The Uvex 85162 offers a compact, anatomically shaped xenova® toe cap that is non-thermally conductive and provides good side stability, along with a dual-density polyurethane outsole engineered for strong slip resistance. The shoe construction is virtually seam-free to reduce pressure points, uses silicone- and plasticiser-free sole materials, and includes medial and lateral heel support to stabilise the foot and reduce ankle twisting. Elastic laces and an additional normal lace are provided for quick, individual adjustment, and the upper includes a foamed polyurethane scuffcap for extended toe-area durability.

Suitable for

• Industrial and factory work requiring S3 protection
• Environments with electrostatic discharge precautions (ESD)
• Tasks with risk of slipping where SRC-rated slip resistance is needed
• Work that benefits from lightweight, breathable safety footwear

How to use

Select the correct size and fit the removable insole if required for foot support. Use the elastic laces for quick adjustment or switch to the supplied normal laces for a firmer fit. Ensure the shoe is correctly fastened and the heel is seated in the medial/lateral support frame to benefit from ankle stabilisation. Replace the insole or perform orthopaedic adjustments using compatible uvex medicare insoles if needed. Follow workplace ESD and safety procedures when using the shoes in controlled environments.

Recommendations

Inspect soles and toe cap regularly for wear and replace the shoes if protective elements are compromised. Clean the upper with a soft brush and mild detergent; avoid harsh chemicals and solvents. For continued ESD performance, keep the footwear and workplace grounding measures in proper condition.
