Veiligheidsschoenen Uvex 8517.2 S3 SRC heren zwart microvelours

Uvex 8517.2 S3 SRC safety shoes for men combine a micro velour upper with a durable polyurethane outsole and a breathable mesh lining to meet common workplace safety requirements. Designed to provide impact protection, slip resistance and long-term wear comfort, these black safety shoes suit industrial, construction and maintenance settings where certified protective footwear is required.

Advantages

The micro velour upper offers abrasion resistance while maintaining a professional appearance and easy-care surface. A robust polyurethane outsole delivers fuel and oil resistance plus SRC-rated slip protection on ceramic and steel surfaces. The breathable mesh lining supports moisture management for extended wear, and the construction accommodates safety toe protection and antistatic properties typical of S3-class footwear.

Suitable for

• Industrial production and assembly lines
• Construction sites and maintenance work
• Warehousing and logistics where slip resistance is needed
• Facilities requiring certified S3 protective footwear

Key specifications

• Upper material: micro velour
• Outsole material: polyurethane (PU)
• Lining: breathable mesh
• Protection class: S3
• Slip resistance: SRC-rated
• Colour: black

How to use

Select the correct shoe size and inspect the footwear for any transport damage before first use. Wear the shoes in work environments that require S3-class protection and ensure proper lacing for secure fit and support. Clean the micro velour upper with a soft brush and mild soap solution; avoid soaking the shoes. Allow the shoes to dry naturally at room temperature and replace them if protective components (toe cap, midsole) are compromised.

Recommendations

For optimal lifespan, rotate between two pairs if used daily in heavy-duty conditions, check soles regularly for wear that may reduce slip resistance, and follow workplace PPE guidelines regarding inspection intervals and replacement triggers.
