Ventilator Akasa AK-FN078 12 cm zwart

The Akasa AK-FN078 12 cm Black is a 120 mm computer case fan designed to improve airflow in HTPCs and slim systems. It operates on 12 V and delivers variable speeds from 600 to 1600 RPM, with a maximum static pressure of 1.36 mmH2O. The fan features precision-balanced, low air impedance blades and a PWM function for speed control, all in a compact black design suitable for constrained spaces.

Advantages

The fan's PWM function enables precise speed regulation for a balance between cooling performance and noise. Precision-balanced low air impedance blades provide efficient airflow at lower noise levels. Its 120 mm size and slim profile make the unit suitable for HTPC and small-form-factor systems where space is limited.

Suitable for

• HTPC cases
• Slim or small-form-factor desktop systems
• Replacement or upgrade for 120 mm case fans

How to use

Install the Akasa AK-FN078 in a compatible 120 mm mount inside your case, aligning the airflow direction with your cooling setup. Connect the fan to a PWM-capable header on the motherboard or to a compatible fan controller using the supplied connector. Adjust fan speed via motherboard BIOS, operating system utilities, or a hardware controller to achieve the desired cooling and noise balance.

Recommendations

For optimal results, place the fan where it complements existing airflow (intake or exhaust) and enable PWM control to reduce noise during low load. Regularly check mounting screws and clean blades to maintain performance.
