Ventilator Aqua Computer airplex GIGANT 3360

The Aqua-Computer airplex GIGANT 3360 is a high-performance aluminium fan radiator designed for efficient passive and active cooling. With a compact footprint of 310 mm width, 310 mm depth and a height of 960 mm, this stand-alone radiator offers increased cooling capacity compared with modular systems while keeping a robust, long-lasting aluminium construction. The airplex GIGANT series supports fanless, near-silent operation but also allows installation of fans to significantly increase heat dissipation when required.

Advantages

The airplex GIGANT 3360 combines a durable aluminium build with a tall, finned body that maximises airflow and thermal exchange area. Its stand-alone design avoids the need for modular attachments while providing higher cooling performance. The unit supports passive, noise-free operation and offers flexible options for adding fans: a single 170–180 mm fan can be mounted in the top cover or in the base, and 140 mm fans can be placed directly in front of the fins with optional fan rails to further increase cooling capacity.

Suitable for

• Passive (fanless) cooling installations where low noise is required
• Systems that need increased cooling performance by adding one or more fans
• Large-format cooling setups in workstations, servers or custom PC liquid cooling loops
• Environments requiring durable, corrosion-resistant aluminium radiators

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium construction for durability and thermal conductivity
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 310 mm × 310 mm × 960 mm
• Stand-alone radiator design with high cooling capacity
• Supports passive operation and fan-assisted operation
• Fan compatibility: one 170–180 mm fan in top cover or base; 140 mm fans can be mounted in front of fins with optional rails

How to use

Install the airplex GIGANT 3360 in a stable, vertical position ensuring unobstructed airflow around the fins. For passive cooling, connect the radiator into the cooling loop and allow natural convection to move heat away from the fins. To increase cooling performance, mount a compatible 170–180 mm fan into the top cover or the base, or fit 140 mm fans directly in front of the fin stack using the optional fan rails. Ensure proper hose connections and secure mounting to prevent leaks and vibration.

Recommendations

For near-silent operation, use the radiator without fans and provide sufficient clearance for airflow. When higher heat dissipation is needed, install fans with appropriate airflow and static pressure ratings, and consider using fan speed control to balance noise and cooling performance.
