Barrow acryl hardtube YKW16-12 16/12 mm 500 mm wit starre koelvloeistofbuis

Barrow Acrylic Hardtube YKW16-12 is a rigid coolant tube designed for custom PC liquid cooling loops. The tube has an outer diameter of 16 mm, inner diameter of 12 mm and a length of 500 mm in white finish. Made from clear acrylic material with an opaque white coating, this hardtube provides a straight, low-deformation coolant path compatible with compression-style fittings designed for 16/12 mm tubing, offering stable fluid flow and a neat visual appearance when integrated into a cooling loop.

Advantages

The rigid acrylic construction maintains its shape under pressure and temperature variations better than flexible hoses, enabling precise routing and consistent coolant circulation. The 16/12 mm cross-section balances flow capacity with compact routing options, while the 500 mm length reduces the need for multiple joints on longer runs. The white finish contributes to a clean aesthetic and can complement RGB lighting or color-coordinated builds without compromising transparency where needed.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops using 16/12 mm fittings
• Systems requiring straight or mildly bent runs with rigid tubing
• Builds focused on clean visual presentation and precise coolant routing
• Upgrades where durable, low-deformation tubing is preferred over flexible hoses

Key specifications

• Material: acrylic (rigid)
• Outer diameter: 16 mm
• Inner diameter: 12 mm
• Length: 500 mm
• Colour/finish: white (opaque coating)
• Compatibility: fittings and compression rings for 16/12 mm hard tubing

How to use

Measure the routing path in your PC case and cut the acrylic tube to the required length using an appropriate tube cutter or saw designed for acrylic. Deburr and polish the cut ends to ensure smooth, square faces. Install compression fittings or appropriate hardtube fittings rated for 16/12 mm tubing, ensuring O-rings or seals are seated correctly. Secure the tube in place, check alignment with other loop components, and perform a pressure or leak test with the system filled with coolant before long-term operation.

Recommendations

Use compatible compression fittings designed for 16/12 mm hard tubing and ensure end faces are clean and free of scratches to maintain reliable, leak-resistant connections. Avoid excessive bending beyond manufacturer recommendations and use proper cutting and polishing tools for best sealing performance.
