Barrow adapter 45° draaibaar G1/4 binnendraad naar G1/4 binnendraad, model FBFTWT45-V2 B, zwart

Barrow FBFTWT45-V2 B is a 45° swivel adapter with G1/4 female threads on both ends, finished in black. It is designed for liquid cooling and plumbing systems to create a compact angled connection where straight fittings are impractical. The swivel feature allows rotational adjustment during installation, enabling better tubing alignment and reducing mechanical stress on fittings and hoses in tight or crowded builds.

Advantages

The 45° swivel design enables flexible orientation without twisting tubing, which simplifies routing in confined spaces. Dual G1/4 female threads provide compatibility with standard threaded fittings used in water-cooling loops. The black finish offers a neutral appearance that integrates with a wide range of system aesthetics while providing corrosion-resistant surface treatment appropriate for typical coolant environments.

Suitable for

• Routing tubing in compact PC cases or tight mounting locations
• Connecting radiators, pumps, reservoirs, and blocks with restricted clearance
• Reducing strain on hoses and threaded fittings in custom liquid-cooling loops

Key specifications

• Connection angle: 45-degree swivel
• Thread type: G1/4 female on both ends
• Finish: black surface treatment
• Material: metal construction suitable for cooling systems (metal alloy common for fittings)
• Function: 360° rotational adjustment on swivel joint for alignment

How to use

Hand-thread the adapter into compatible G1/4 male fittings, tightening until snug and then secure with an appropriate wrench if required, taking care not to overtighten. Rotate the swivel portion to achieve the desired 45° orientation and tubing alignment before final tightening of connected fittings. Inspect thread seals or use appropriate sealing tape or washers if specified by the connected components' documentation. Ensure all joints are leak-tested after assembly following standard liquid-cooling procedures.

Recommendations

Use this adapter in conjunction with compatible G1/4 threaded fittings and follow coolant manufacturer guidelines. Verify material compatibility with your chosen coolant and perform a pressure or leak test after installation. Avoid excessive wrench torque on the swivel joint to prevent deformation; tighten to manufacturer-recommended torque values when available.
