Verfroerder KWB 497290 – vervangend gereedschap voor het mengen van verf en lak

The KWB paint stirrer 497290 is a replacement mixing accessory designed to blend paints, varnishes and similar liquid coatings to a uniform consistency before application. Built for use with compatible mixers or drills, the stirrer helps redistribute pigments, resins and solvents in both water-based and solvent-based products, reducing streaks and improving the homogeneity of decorative and protective coatings.

Advantages

This replacement tool offers efficient mixing with reduced air entrainment and a stable stirring action that minimizes splashing. Its shape is optimized to create a steady flow that brings settled particles into suspension and achieves consistent viscosity throughout the can. The stirrer is durable and easy to attach to standard mixing drives, making it a practical spare part for occasional or frequent use.

How to use

Secure the stirrer into the chuck of a compatible drill or mixing device and ensure it is tightly fastened before starting. Insert the stirrer into the paint container so that the blades are submerged, start the mixer at low speed, and gradually increase speed to achieve a uniform flow. Move the stirrer up and down slowly if necessary to lift settled material from the bottom. After mixing, run the mixer briefly at low speed to remove trapped air, then remove the stirrer and clean it according to the coating manufacturer’s instructions.

Recommendations

Use moderate speeds to avoid excessive air incorporation; follow the paint or varnish manufacturer’s guidance for mixing times. Clean the stirrer immediately after use to prevent drying of residues and store it in a dry place. Check compatibility with the specific mixer or drill chuck and observe all safety instructions when working with solvent-based products.
