Verlengsnoer Bachmann 3x Schuko 2x CAT6 1x HDMI 1x USB3.0 902.502

DESK 2 is a modular aluminium power strip designed for flexible use in offices, meeting rooms, home offices and desk-sharing environments. The unit accepts standardised keystone-style modules so power, data and AV connections can be configured and replaced as requirements change. The profile is secured to the desktop with aluminium retaining brackets and cables are routed discreetly behind the screen. The product combines durable materials and a clean, functional design and has received multiple design awards.

Advantages

The aluminium housing offers a robust and lightweight solution for modern workstations, with a user-oriented 45° orientation for easy access to sockets and modules. Covered wiring runs to the desk edge and a modular concept allows custom versions and future adaptation. The device includes a 1.5 m supply cable with GST18 connector and earthing contact, and the assembled configuration provides three child-proof Schuko outlets, two CAT6 couplings, one HDMI keystone socket and one USB 3.0 A/A keystone module. The design has been recognised with the Red Dot Design Award (2011) and the iF Product Design Award (2012).

Suitable for

• Office desks and shared workstations
• Conference and meeting room tables
• Home office setups
• Workplaces requiring mixed power and data/AV connections

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium profile with plastic module inserts
• Colour: black modules, painted stainless steel profile
• Power input: 0.2 m H05VV-F 3G 1.5 mm² with GST18 connector and earth contact
• Supply cable length: 1.5 m (separate device supply cable, GST18/earth contact)
• Outlets: 3 Schuko socket outlets with earthing contact, child-proof, angled at 35°
• Data/AV: 2 × CAT6 coupling sockets, 1 × HDMI keystone socket, 1 × USB A/A 3.0 keystone module

How to use

Mount the DESK 2 profile to the desktop using the supplied aluminium retaining brackets and route the supply cable behind the screen or to the underside of the desk. Configure the module windows by inserting the required keystone modules (Schuko outlets, CAT6 couplings, HDMI, USB) into the standardised openings and secure them according to the manufacturer instructions. Connect the GST18 supply plug to a compatible mains inlet and ensure the earthing contact is connected. Position the profile so the 35° angled sockets are easily accessible to users.

Recommendations

Use the modular concept to adapt ports to changing needs: replace or rearrange keystone modules for different combinations of power, network and AV connections. For safety, ensure installation complies with local electrical regulations and that earthing is connected. Avoid overloading individual outlets and keep the supply cable routed to prevent tripping hazards.
