Verstelbaar beveiligingskabel Python MASTER LOCK 1,8 m x 10 mm zwart geel

The Master Lock Python™ Adjustable Locking Cable is a 1.8 m long security cable with a 10 mm braided steel core and a protective vinyl coating. It features an integrated pin-tumbler keyed lock and a rust-resistant lock body designed for outdoor use. The cable’s patented adjustable locking mechanism allows infinitely variable locking positions between 30 cm and 1.8 m, and a strap keeps excess cable tidy for compact storage.

Advantages

The braided steel construction provides high strength and flexibility while the vinyl sleeve and lock body bumper prevent scratches on frames and surfaces. The keyed pin tumbler lock offers enhanced resistance to picking, and both cable and lock body are treated for improved weather and rust resistance. Interchangeable cables add application flexibility, and the product is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Suitable for

How to use

Loop the cable around the item and a fixed anchor point, then insert the cable end into the lock body and turn the key to secure. Adjust the lock position along the cable to achieve the desired length between 30 cm and 1.8 m. Use the strap to secure any excess cable for neat storage. Store the key in a safe place and keep the lock dry when possible to prolong service life.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid prolonged immersion in salt water, periodically lubricate the keyway with a graphite or silicone-based lubricant, and check the cable sleeve for wear. Choose an anchoring point that reduces leverage and makes access more difficult for thieves.
