Verstelbare schroevendraaier Wera 05020174001 bekbreedte 4,1 cm zilver

The Wera adjustable spanner with a maximum jaw width of 4.1 cm and a compact length of 130 mm is a precision hand tool designed for accurate tightening and loosening of nuts and bolts. Finished in silver, the spanner combines a small footprint with a reliable adjustable jaw mechanism to handle a range of fastener sizes. Its construction reflects Wera’s focus on durable materials and practical ergonomics for regular workshop and field use.

Advantages

The compact 130 mm length allows access to confined spaces where larger spanners cannot reach, while the adjustable jaw width up to 4.1 cm accommodates a variety of fastener sizes. The silver finish resists basic surface wear and provides a neutral appearance suitable for professional toolkits. The tool’s precise adjustment mechanism enables a secure grip on hexagonal and square fasteners, reducing the risk of slippage during torque application.

Suitable for

• Tightening and loosening nuts and bolts of different sizes
• Maintenance and repair tasks in workshops and garages
• Field service work where a compact adjustable spanner is required
• DIY projects that demand a versatile, space-saving wrench

Key specifications

• Maximum jaw width: 4.1 cm
• Overall length: 130 mm
• Finish: silver
• Adjustable jaw mechanism for varied fastener sizes
• Hand tool type: adjustable spanner/wrench

How to use

Select the jaw opening by turning the adjustment nut until the jaw fits snugly around the nut or bolt head. Place the fixed jaw against one flat of the fastener and the adjustable jaw against the opposite flat, ensuring full contact before applying torque. Apply steady force in the required direction to tighten or loosen the fastener, keeping the spanner aligned with the fastener axis to minimize wear and slippage. After use, retract the jaw to a smaller opening for storage.

Recommendations

The Wera adjustable spanner is best used on clean, undamaged fasteners to maximize grip and minimize rounding. Avoid excessive impact or hammering on the spanner; use the tool within its mechanical limits and choose a larger spanner for high-torque applications. Regularly inspect the jaw faces and adjustment threads for wear and keep the mechanism lightly lubricated to ensure smooth operation.
