Verticale rail Triton RAX-VL-X09-X1 9U grijs

The Triton Vertical Rail 9U in Grey is a vertical mounting rail engineered for efficient organization of rack-mountable equipment. Offering 9U of usable rack height, the rail provides a compact solution for securing network devices, patch panels and small servers where full cabinet depth is not required. Constructed from durable materials and finished in a neutral grey, the rail is intended to integrate into server rooms, telecom closets and equipment racks while optimizing vertical space.

Advantages

The vertical rail delivers stable support for mounted equipment through a robust profile and precise mounting holes compatible with standard rack units. Its 9U capacity allows for a focused installation footprint, reducing clutter and improving airflow compared with ad-hoc mounting. The grey finish provides visual consistency in mixed environments and resists visible wear. The design simplifies access for cable routing and maintenance while minimizing the need for additional mounting hardware.

Suitable for

• Mounting small network switches and patch panels in telecom cabinets
• Installing compact servers or appliance devices in limited spaces
• Organizing audio-visual equipment in control racks
• Adding vertical mounting points inside larger racks to increase usable U count

Key specifications

• Rack height: 9U usable mounting height
• Orientation: vertical rail for rack integration
• Finish: grey powder coat for surface protection
• Material: steel construction for rigidity and load support
• Mounting: standard rack unit hole spacing compatible with 19-inch rack equipment

How to use

Install the vertical rail by aligning it with the rack’s vertical mounting strip and securing it using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts or threaded posts as required by the existing rack frame. Position the rail at the desired height to reserve the 9U segment for your equipment, then attach devices using standard rack-mount brackets or shelf kits as applicable. Route network and power cabling along the rail and into cable management channels to maintain clear airflow and service access.

Recommendations

Verify the weight and mounting depth of each device before installation to ensure the rail and rack can support the load. Use appropriate fasteners and, when mounting heavier components, distribute weight across multiple attachment points. Leave adequate space between adjacent equipment for ventilation and follow local installation standards for grounding and safety.
