Vervangend actiefkoolfilter voor CATA-afzuigkap model 02846763, zwart

Replacement activated carbon filter for CATA hood model 02846763, black is a consumable component designed for recirculating extraction systems. It contains activated carbon media that adsorbs cooking odours and helps retain grease particles, supporting the hood’s capacity to maintain kitchen air quality. The product is intended for periodic replacement as part of routine maintenance to ensure consistent extraction performance.

Advantages

The activated carbon media provides effective adsorption of volatile organic compounds and common kitchen smells. The filter’s dimensions and airflow characteristics are matched to CATA hood model 02846763 to maintain designed extraction efficiency. The black finish is resistant to common kitchen stains and simplifies visual inspection when checking service intervals. Using a dedicated replacement filter helps preserve the hood’s internal components by reducing grease accumulation downstream of the grease filter.

Suitable for

• Recirculating kitchen extractor hoods of the specified CATA model
• Removal of cooking odours in apartments and small kitchens
• Routine maintenance and seasonal filter replacement

Key specifications

• Filter type: activated carbon adsorption filter
• Colour: black
• Intended use: recirculating/ductless hood operation
• Primary function: odour adsorption and auxiliary grease retention
• Material: activated carbon media housed in a frame compatible with the hood

How to use

Turn off the hood and disconnect power if required by the hood’s user manual. Open the hood’s filter access panel and remove the old carbon filter according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Insert the replacement carbon filter into the designated slot, ensuring it sits securely and aligns with any locating tabs or guides. Close the access panel and restore power. Check that the hood operates normally and that airflow is unobstructed.

Recommendations

Follow the CATA hood owner’s manual for recommended replacement intervals; typical frequency depends on cooking habits and kitchen ventilation, with more frequent replacement needed in high-use situations. Replace the activated carbon filter if odour removal performance decreases or if the filter becomes visibly saturated with grease. Combine with recommended grease filters and regular cleaning to maintain optimal hood performance.
