Vetafscheidingskan Westmark 30712260 1000 ml kunststof transparant met greep

The Westmark 30712260 fat separator is a 1000 ml plastic kitchen tool designed to separate fat and grease from cooking liquids. Its clear container and transparent handle provide visible control while pouring, and the compact shape makes it easy to store in kitchen cabinets or on a worktop. Made from durable plastic, the separator is lightweight and suitable for everyday use when preparing soups, sauces, gravies and pan juices.

Advantages

The transparent handle and clear body allow precise monitoring of liquid level and fat separation without guessing. The 1000 ml capacity is large enough for most family-sized recipes yet compact for small kitchens. Constructed from durable plastic, the device is resistant to breakage and easy to handle. The simple pouring spout minimizes spills and directs liquid flow for controlled decanting of defatted stocks and sauces.

Suitable for

• Separating fat from meat and poultry pan juices
• Removing grease from homemade stocks and broths
• Clarifying sauces, gravies and soups
• Preparing lower-fat meals and dressings

Key specifications

• Capacity: 1000 ml
• Material: durable plastic
• Color/finish: transparent body with transparent handle
• Design features: pouring spout and ergonomic handle for controlled pouring
• Storage: compact shape for easy cabinet or countertop storage

How to use

Allow cooked liquid to cool slightly so that fat rises to the surface. Pour the liquid into the separator and let it sit briefly to ensure a clear fat layer forms. Hold the separator by the transparent handle and pour slowly through the spout; the lower, defatted liquid will exit first while fat remains on top. Stop pouring before fat reaches the spout opening. For thicker fats, refrigerate briefly to solidify the fat layer and pour off the clear liquid underneath.

Recommendations

Wash the fat separator before first use and after each use with warm soapy water. Avoid exposing the plastic to direct high heat or open flame. For best performance, use with cooled or slightly warm liquids and inspect the spout for residual fat when storing.
