VGA en audio naar HDMI converter Lindy 38165

The Lindy 38165 VGA and Audio to HDMI Converter converts analogue VGA video and stereo audio into a single HDMI output without scaling; the output resolution matches the input resolution. It enables connection of legacy PCs and AV equipment to modern HDMI displays and supports video modes up to 1080p with a bandwidth of 6.75 Gbit/s. The compact converter is black, weighs 0.2 kg and measures 87 mm x 66 mm x 25 mm. It uses an input voltage of 100–240 V.

Advantages

How to use

Connect the VGA output of your source device to the converter's VGA input and connect the stereo audio output to the converter's audio input. Plug an HDMI cable from the converter's HDMI output to the display. Power the converter from its power input (100–240 V). Because the device does not perform resolution scaling, ensure the source device is set to a resolution supported by the target display; the converter will pass the input resolution to the HDMI output.

Recommendations

Use a good quality VGA cable and stereo audio cable to minimise signal degradation. Set the source display resolution to a standard mode supported by the HDMI display (for example 1920x1080) to ensure proper output. This product converts analogue signals to digital only and does not upscale or enhance image resolution.
