Videokabel-adapter DeLOCK 84455

The DeLOCK 84455 video cable adapter is a 2 m cable with a DVI-D (18+1) connector on one end and an HDMI connector on the other, designed to connect monitors, TVs or graphics cards for digital video transmission. The cable supports connection in both directions (HDMI graphics card to DVI monitor or DVI graphics card to HDMI monitor). Gold-plated connectors and two ferrite cores help ensure stable signal quality. An additional 3.5 mm audio cable (two 30 cm leads) is provided for analogue audio transfer when required.

Advantages

The cable provides a straightforward solution for converting between DVI-D and HDMI interfaces without external adapters, maintaining digital video quality via gold-plated connectors and ferrite cores that reduce interference. The included 3.5 mm audio lead enables analogue audio routing when the video source and display require separate audio cabling. Its 2 m length and compact design make it suitable for typical desktop and home setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a HDMI graphics card to a DVI-D monitor
• Connecting a DVI-D graphics card to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Setups where video is digital but audio must be routed separately via 3.5 mm
• Desktop PCs, workstations and home entertainment systems

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connectors: DVI-D (18+1) to HDMI (male–male)
• Audio connector: 3.5 mm analogue audio male–male (2 × 30 cm leads)
• Number of ferrite cores: 2
• Connector finish: gold-plated
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the DVI-D end to the DVI port and the HDMI end to the HDMI port depending on your device arrangement. If audio is required and not carried over the video connection, plug the two 3.5 mm audio plugs into the source sound card output and the monitor or speaker input. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the correct input on the display. No driver installation is necessary for video signalling over the cable.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical cables and keep connections free of dust. Use the shortest practical cable length and secure connectors to prevent strain; the ferrite cores will help suppress interference in typical office and home environments.
