Videokabel-adapter ROLINE 11.04.5776 7.5m HDMI type A DisplayPort zwart

The ROLINE 11.04.5776 is a 7.5 m video cable adapter with HDMI Type A (Standard) and DisplayPort connectors, designed to connect source devices and displays that use different digital video interfaces. The cable supports direct transmission of audio and video signals over a single lead, offering an extended reach for installations where devices are positioned at a distance. The black jacket provides discreet integration into home, office, or studio environments while the cable's construction focuses on maintaining signal integrity across its length.

Advantages

This adapter cable combines HDMI Type A and DisplayPort connectivity in a single 7.5 m assembly, enabling compatibility between devices without the need for separate signal converters. Its length reduces the need for intermediate extenders and allows flexible placement of source equipment and displays. The cable's shielding and connector fit are intended to provide a stable connection and consistent transmission quality for typical multimedia and productivity scenarios.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop with DisplayPort output to a display, TV or projector with HDMI input
• Setup of home entertainment systems where longer cable runs are required
• Office or meeting room installations with separated source and display devices
• Temporary setups for presentations, events or training requiring straightforward A/V linking

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connector A: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Connector B: DisplayPort
• Colour: Black
• Signal type: Digital audio and video transmission

How to use

Plug the DisplayPort end into the video output of the source device and the HDMI Type A end into the HDMI input of the display or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct input/output settings; select the HDMI input on the display and, if necessary, enable the external display in the source device's display settings. Avoid bending the cable sharply at the connector ends and route the cable to prevent pinching or excessive stress.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight coils. If video or audio does not appear, check display input selection and the source device's output settings; in some systems a display mode or driver update may be required. Use the cable within the specified length for direct connection and consider active conversion solutions if signal conversion or extended transmission beyond 7.5 m is needed.
