Videokabel-adapter ShiverPeaks BS10-55045

The ShiverPeaks BS10-55045 is a 3 m video cable adapter that converts a Mini DisplayPort output to a DVI-D input, enabling connection between laptops or graphics cards with Mini DisplayPort and DVI-D monitors or projectors. The cable is black and supplied in a polybag with one piece per pack. The adapter supports digital video transmission and is designed for straightforward plug-and-play use without requiring additional drivers.

Advantages

This Mini DisplayPort to DVI-D adapter provides a reliable digital-only signal path suitable for displays that accept DVI-D. The 3 m length offers flexibility for desktop or meeting-room setups where the source and display are separated. Its black finish matches common AV equipment and reduces visual distraction. The adapter’s simple single-cable design reduces clutter compared with multiple converters and helps maintain signal integrity for standard resolutions supported by DVI-D.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector 1: Mini DisplayPort (male)
• Connector 2: DVI-D (male)
• Signal type: Digital video (DVI-D)
• Colour: Black
• Packaging: Polybag, single piece per pack

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end to the source device (laptop or graphics card) and the DVI-D end to the monitor or projector input. Ensure both devices are powered and set the display input to the connected DVI channel. The cable transmits digital video; if the target display only accepts analog DVI-A or VGA, an active converter will be required. No driver installation is typically needed—operating system display settings can be used to configure resolution, rotation, and multi-display arrangements.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable to preserve connector and cable integrity. For stable high-resolution output, verify that both source and display support the desired resolution over DVI-D and adjust display settings accordingly. Keep connectors free of dust and store the cable coiled without tight loops when not in use.
