Videokabel-adapter ShiverPeaks BS77492-2 2m DisplayPort naar HDMI type A

The ShiverPeaks BS77492-2 2m DisplayPort to HDMI Type A cable adapter provides a straightforward connection between DisplayPort-equipped source devices and HDMI Type A displays. With a 2-metre length and a black finish, this adapter supports the transmission of video and audio signals from computers, laptops, and other DP-enabled sources to HDTVs, monitors and projectors with an HDMI input.

Advantages

This DisplayPort to HDMI adapter offers a reliable wired connection for high-quality video and audio transfer without the need for additional converters or software. The 2 m length gives flexibility for desk and AV setups while maintaining signal integrity. The durable black jacket and molded connectors are designed for frequent connection cycles and easy handling.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops with DisplayPort output to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Extending or duplicating a desktop to an HDMI display for productivity or presentations
• Connecting to projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms that accept HDMI input
• Home entertainment setups where a DisplayPort source must feed an HDMI-capable TV

Key specifications

• Connector 1: DisplayPort (male)
• Connector 2: HDMI Type A (Standard) (male)
• Cable length: 2 metres
• Colour: Black
• Signal type: Digital video and audio transmission

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the cable to the DisplayPort output on the source device and plug the HDMI Type A end into the HDMI input of the display. Once both ends are connected, power on the source and the display. Configure the display settings on your source device as required (mirror, extend, or select resolution/refresh rate). No external power or driver installation is typically required; the adapter uses the source device's DisplayPort output to negotiate an HDMI-compatible signal.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable at distances up to 2 metres and avoid sharp bends or kinks. Ensure both connectors are fully seated in their ports. If the display does not show an image, check source display settings, try a different HDMI input on the display, and verify the source supports output to an external display via DisplayPort.
