Videokabel-adapter ShiverPeaks BS77493-2

The ShiverPeaks BS77493-2 is a 3-meter video cable adapter that connects a DisplayPort output to an HDMI Type A (Standard) input. Designed for straightforward signal conversion, this cable transmits video from computers, laptops, or other devices with DisplayPort connectors to HDTVs, monitors, and projectors with HDMI inputs. The 3 m length gives extra reach for flexible placement of source and display without needing additional extenders.

Advantages

This DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter cable supports high-quality digital video transmission and simplifies the connection between devices with different connector standards. Its robust outer jacket and strain-relief at both ends improve durability for repeated plugging and rearrangements. The single cable design eliminates the need for separate adapters and short patch cords, reducing clutter and possible signal points of failure.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops with DisplayPort outputs to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Home entertainment setups where the source and display need extra separation
• Office workstations and meeting rooms requiring a reliable video link to projectors or displays

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 meters
• Connector A: DisplayPort (source end)
• Connector B: HDMI Type A (standard, display end)
• Signal type: digital video (DisplayPort to HDMI conversion)
• Construction: durable outer jacket with strain relief at connectors

How to use

Ensure both connected devices are powered off or in a stable state before connecting. Insert the DisplayPort connector into the source device’s DisplayPort output and the HDMI Type A connector into the target display’s HDMI input. Power on the display and source device, then select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. Adjust resolution and refresh rate settings on the source device as needed to match the capabilities of the HDMI display.

Recommendations

For best results, verify that the source device supports DisplayPort output over the connected port and that the display supports HDMI input at the desired resolution. If you encounter no signal, try selecting the correct output from the source’s display settings and testing with a different HDMI input on the display. Keep the cable routed without tight bends near connector ends to preserve signal quality and prolong cable life.
