Videokabel-adapter ShiverPeaks BS77497-2 7,5m DisplayPort naar HDMI

The ShiverPeaks BS77497-2 7.5m DisplayPort to HDMI cable adapter provides a direct connection from a DisplayPort output to an HDMI Type A input over a 7.5 metre length. It transmits video and audio signals to HDMI displays including monitors, TVs and projectors. The cable's construction is designed to support reliable signal transfer over a longer distance while keeping installation flexible for home and office setups.

Advantages

This DisplayPort to HDMI adapter cable supports both high-definition video and multi-channel audio through a single cable, reducing cable clutter. Its 7.5m length allows placement flexibility between source devices and displays without additional extenders. Sturdy connectors and jacketed cable construction improve durability and resistance to wear from repeated handling and routing behind furniture or equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or desktop PCs with DisplayPort output to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Presentations with projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Home entertainment setups where the source is distant from the display
• Temporary or semi-permanent AV installations requiring a longer run without signal extenders

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 metres
• Connector types: DisplayPort (source) to HDMI Type A (display)
• Supports digital video and audio transmission
• Designed for single-cable audio/video transfer
• Durable outer jacket and reinforced connector ends for improved longevity

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end to a compatible output on your laptop or desktop and plug the HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI input of your monitor, TV or projector. After connecting, power on both devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. On many systems the display will be detected automatically; if not, use the operating system's display settings to enable or configure duplicate/extended screen modes and audio output routed via HDMI.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and route it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If you experience no signal, check both connectors are fully seated and confirm the source's DisplayPort output supports a passive adapter to HDMI; if necessary, consult the device documentation for DisplayPort alternate mode or active adapter requirements.
