Videokabel-adapter Techly ICOC-HDMI-D-045 5 m DVI-D zwart

The Techly ICOC-HDMI-D-045 5 m DVI-D Black is a 5-metre video cable adapter designed to connect devices with a DVI-D output to HDMI displays. The cable provides a straightforward digital-only connection for transmitting video signals between compatible source devices and monitors or TVs. It is supplied with a male connector and comes in a protective polybag, offering a simple and reliable option for extending or adapting a DVI-D video output to an HDMI input without additional converters.

Advantages

This DVI-D to HDMI cable supports direct digital video transfer, reducing the risk of signal degradation caused by analogue conversion. The 5 m length gives flexibility when routing between a source device and a display, while the single-cable solution avoids the need for multiple adapters. The black jacket provides a neutral appearance that fits most AV setups and reduces visual clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or older graphics cards with DVI-D output to HDMI monitors or TVs
• Use in office and home office environments for monitor extension or replacement
• Temporary AV setups where a reliable digital connection is required without audio transfer

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: DVI-D (digital)
• Colour: Black
• Signal type: Digital video only (no analogue, no embedded audio)

How to use

Connect the DVI-D male end to the DVI-D output on the source device and plug the HDMI end into the display’s HDMI input. Ensure both devices are powered off when making the physical connection to minimise the risk of detection issues. After connections are made, power on the display and then the source device; configure the display settings on the source if necessary to select the correct resolution and refresh rate supported by the monitor.

Recommendations

For best results, use this cable for video-only applications where the source provides a digital DVI-D signal. If audio transmission is required, use an alternative solution or separate audio cabling since DVI-D does not carry embedded audio. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors over time.
