Videosplitter DeLOCK 87691 DisplayPort 2x DisplayPort

This Delock DisplayPort splitter receives a DisplayPort signal from a PC or laptop and duplicates it to two connected displays, allowing one DisplayPort output to drive two monitors. The outputs support dual-mode (DP++), enabling connection of HDMI or DVI screens using appropriate passive adapters.

Advantages

The splitter enables two displays from a single DisplayPort source without requiring additional graphics outputs. DP++ support allows flexible use of HDMI or DVI monitors with simple adapters. The device is suitable for expanding workspace or mirroring content on two screens while keeping cabling straightforward.

Key specifications

• Interface (input): DisplayPort
• Outputs: 2 × DisplayPort (DP++)
• Dual-mode support: DP++ (HDMI/DVI via passive adapter)
• Function: Signal duplication to two displays

How to use

Connect the splitter to the DisplayPort output of the PC or laptop. Attach two monitors to the splitter outputs using DisplayPort cables; if using HDMI or DVI monitors, connect them with appropriate DP-to-HDMI or DP-to-DVI passive adapters. Power on the computer and displays; configure display settings in the operating system as needed to mirror the image across both screens.

Recommendations

Use compatible passive adapters for HDMI or DVI connections and verify that the source device supports DP++ output. For optimal results, use cables and adapters of good quality and check display resolution settings after connection.
