Videostekker ShiverPeaks 98928 UHF-centrale montage voor video-/audiosystemen

ShiverPeaks 98928 UHF central mount for video/audio systems is a UHF feed-through connector designed for integrating analog video and audio equipment into racks, patch panels and devices that require a robust central-mounted UHF interface. The unit provides a standard UHF interface with a central fixing point for secure installation and reliable signal transmission in AV systems where a front-panel UHF connection is needed.

Advantages

The connector offers a durable metal body and a central mounting design that ensures stable mechanical fixation and consistent electrical contact. Its UHF interface supports common video and audio signal paths and is suitable for feed-through installations, minimizing signal loss at the connection point. The central mount simplifies panel alignment and provides a neat front-panel appearance while reducing mechanical stress on connected cables.

Suitable for

• Rack and wall-mount patch panels for AV distribution
• Front-panel integration in professional video equipment
• Retrofit or replacement of existing UHF feed-through connectors
• Installations requiring a central-mounted, mechanically secure UHF connector

Key specifications

• Connector type: UHF feed-through (central mount)
• Mounting style: panel-mounted, central fixing
• Contact configuration: single UHF signal path for video/audio
• Housing material: metal body for mechanical durability
• Application environment: indoor AV racks, patch panels, equipment front panels

How to use

Install the connector into a prepared panel cutout and secure it using the central fixing mechanism. Ensure the panel thickness is compatible with the connector's mounting depth and tighten the central fastener to provide a stable mechanical and electrical connection. Connect the corresponding UHF cable or plug to the front side and route the internal cable to the device or patch panel behind the mounting point. Verify continuity and signal quality after installation.

Recommendations

Use appropriately rated UHF cables and avoid excessive bending near the connector. For best performance, mount the connector on a rigid panel and check that the central fixing is tightened to prevent movement. Inspect contacts periodically in high-use environments to maintain reliable signal transmission.
