Vivolink OPTIC HDMI 8K-KABEL 20 meter

The VivoLink OPTIC 8K HDMI cable (20 m) is a professional-grade fiber optic HDMI cable designed to transmit lossless audio and video signals over long distances. It supports HDMI 2.1 features and delivers up to 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz resolution while remaining resistant to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. Kevlar reinforcement and secure connector lock rings provide increased durability for demanding AV installations.

Advantages

Fiber optic construction ensures stable, lossless signal transmission across long runs and in environments with EMI/RFI interference. HDMI 2.1 support enables high-resolution video and advanced HDMI features such as ARC, Ethernet channel and 3D. Kevlar fibers integrated into the cable and secured with lock rings in the connectors increase tensile strength and protect the cable during installation through walls, ceilings or cable trays.

Suitable for

• Long-distance AV connections between sources and displays (up to 20 m)
• Professional installations in venues, conference rooms and control centers
• Environments with high electromagnetic or radio-frequency interference
• Fixed installations routed through walls, ceilings or cable runways

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Standard: HDMI 2.1
• Maximum resolution: 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz
• HDCP version: HDCP 2.2 compliant
• Features: ARC, HDMI Ethernet Channel, 3D support
• Tensile strength (pull resistance): 20 kg
• Connectors: HDMI male to HDMI male

How to use

Connect one HDMI male connector to the source device (for example a media player, PC or AV receiver) and the other HDMI male connector to the display or projector. Ensure both devices support the required HDMI features and set display resolution to the desired value. Route the cable through cable runs, walls or ceilings as needed; the reinforced Kevlar fibers and lock-ring secured connectors reduce the risk of damage during installation. If HDCP-protected content is used, verify that both source and display support HDCP 2.2.

Recommendations

Do not bend the fiber cable sharply; maintain gentle curves and observe manufacturer minimum bend radius. Avoid excessive pulling beyond the rated tensile strength (20 kg). For permanent installations, secure connectors and maintain strain relief at each termination point to ensure long-term reliability.
