Vleugel Amewi 045-V2959002

The Amewi 045-V2959002 wing is a replacement and upgrade component designed for radio-controlled (RC) model aircraft. Finished in black, red and white, the wing combines a slender aerodynamic profile with construction aimed at balancing light weight and structural strength. It is intended to improve overall flight stability and handling, offering a refined control surface for hobbyist and sport RC models.

Advantages

This wing provides improved aerodynamic efficiency through a contoured planform that reduces drag while supporting lift. Its lightweight materials contribute to better maneuverability and reduced stall tendency, and the construction is chosen to resist typical wear from regular flying and handling. The color scheme enhances visibility in flight and helps with orientation during maneuvers.

Suitable for

• Replacement wing for compatible Amewi RC model airplanes
• Performance upgrade for hobby and sport flying
• Flight testing and control-surface tuning
• Model restoration or custom build projects

Key specifications

• Aerodynamic profile: streamlined airfoil for balanced lift and low drag
• Color: black, red, white for improved visual orientation
• Construction: lightweight yet durable materials suitable for RC use
• Compatibility: designed for use with matching Amewi model series and similarly sized RC airframes
• Function: primary lift surface and control integration points for servos and linkages

How to use

Install the wing by aligning it with the model airframe attachment points and securing it with the original fasteners or those specified by the model manufacturer. Ensure control linkages and servo horns connect properly to the ailerons or flaps, and verify the hinge lines are free to move without binding. After installation, perform a range check and balance the aircraft as required, adjusting the center of gravity to match the original specifications or manufacturer recommendations before the first flight.

Recommendations

Inspect mounting points and control linkages before each flying session. Use appropriate adhesives or fasteners for secure installation, and avoid exceeding recommended flight loads for your RC model. Store the wing away from extreme heat or prolonged sunlight to preserve material properties and color. When tuning flight characteristics, make incremental adjustments to trim and control throws to achieve the desired handling.
