Vloeistofkoeler NZXT Kraken Elite 280 RGB 14 cm zwart

The Kraken Elite is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler with a bright 2.36" wide-angle LCD display and 640×640 resolution that reproduces detailed images and animated GIFs from many viewing angles. It features a 7th generation Asetek pump for up to 2800 RPM operation and three F Series RGB Core fans (each with 8 individually addressable RGB LEDs) to support effective cooling and customizable lighting. A more powerful microcontroller enables advanced display customization and particle-style animations for system data. The cooler includes reinforced nylon-braided tubing and a single breakout cable to simplify installation and handling.

Advantages

The high-resolution 640×640 LCD provides clearer, more detailed visuals for custom images and animations. Enhanced microcontroller performance allows audio visualizers and CAM telemetry with particle density effects. Twice the display brightness compared with earlier models improves visibility. The 7th gen Asetek pump and F Series RGB Core fans offer reliable cooling performance while supporting individually addressable RGB control. Reinforced tubing and a single-cable setup reduce installation complexity and increase durability.

Key specifications

• Display: 2.36" wide-angle LCD, 640×640 resolution
• Pump: 7th generation Asetek, up to 2800 RPM
• Fans: F Series RGB Core, 3 fans with 8 individually addressable RGB LEDs each
• Customization: Advanced microcontroller supporting audio visualizers and particle animations
• Software: NZXT CAM-compatible for images, GIFs, performance info, and fan/pump/RGB control
• Installation: Single breakout cable; nylon-braided reinforced tubing

How to use

Install the Kraken Elite following the motherboard and case compatibility instructions, mounting the radiator and connecting the single breakout cable to the required headers. Use NZXT CAM software to upload custom images or animated GIFs to the 640×640 display, configure audio visualizers or CAM telemetry visualizations, and set fan and pump speed profiles. For quieter operation, enable 0 RPM mode in CAM at low temperatures to stop fans until additional cooling is needed.

Recommendations

Use NZXT CAM for full display customization and to manage fan/pump behavior. Ensure radiator placement allows adequate airflow and verify case compatibility for the radiator size. Handle the nylon-braided tubes gently and route the single breakout cable to avoid strain.
