How to use

Connect the adapter to an AC mains outlet using the supplied mains cable, then insert the barrel connector securely into the laptop charging socket. For first-time use, allow the battery to charge until the laptop reports full or sufficient charge according to the device’s battery indicator. Disconnect the adapter by first unplugging from the mains, then removing the connector from the laptop to avoid undue strain on the cable.

Recommendations

Use the adapter on a flat, well-ventilated surface and avoid covering the power brick while in use. Verify compatibility with your specific Dell notebook model before purchase, and use the original or equivalent mains cable rated for your region. If the adapter becomes unusually hot, emits smells, or produces noise, stop using it and consult service support.
