Voeding Lancom Systems LANCOM DPSU-480/55 — 480 W, AC 100–240 V, TS35 DIN, zwart/staal

LANCOM DPSU-480/55 is a 480 W DIN-rail power supply unit designed to provide stable 55 VDC power to LANCOM industrial access switches and other network devices. The unit accepts AC input from 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz and is built in a compact TS35 DIN form factor for installation on standard DIN rails. Its metal housing in black and steel and extended operating temperature range make it suitable for industrial racks and installations where reliable continuous power is required.

Advantages

The DPSU-480/55 delivers a consistent 55 VDC output at up to 10 A, with built-in protections against over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and over-temperature events to protect connected equipment. Its compact dimensions and DIN-rail mounting simplify installation in control cabinets and industrial enclosures, while the extended ambient temperature range and cold-start capability ensure operation in harsh environments. Compatibility with LANCOM industrial access switches provides a tested power solution for PoE-capable network deployments.

How to use

Mount the LANCOM DPSU-480/55 on a TS35 DIN rail inside a suitably rated control cabinet or enclosure. Connect the AC input to a properly fused single-phase 100–240 VAC supply and verify correct grounding. Connect the 55 VDC output to the network device using appropriate wiring rated for the output current. Ensure polarity is correct before powering on. After connection, power on the AC source and verify that the connected equipment receives stable 55 VDC output and that no protection indicators are active.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable cross-sections and terminations for up to 10 A DC output, provide a properly rated upstream circuit protection device, and maintain adequate ventilation around the unit. For installations in demanding environments, verify mechanical mounting and avoid locations with excessive dust, corrosive chemicals or direct water exposure. Refer to the device documentation for detailed wiring diagrams and safety instructions when pairing with PoE-capable access switches.
