How to use

Confirm the laptop’s required voltage (V), current (A) and power (W) from the label on the bottom of the computer. Connect the adapter to mains (220–240 V), attach the 4.0 × 1.7 mm plug into the laptop’s DC jack and route the cable as needed; use the included Velcro strap to secure excess length. If the adapter’s current (A) or power (W) rating is higher than the laptop’s requirement, it is acceptable; the adapter will operate with less strain. Do not use the adapter if the output voltage differs by more than ±0.5 V from the laptop’s required voltage, and never use a plug that does not match the original connector.

Recommendations

Ensure the connector size and output voltage match the laptop specifications before use. Keep the adapter in a ventilated area to avoid overheating and disconnect it during extended periods of non-use. For safety, replace the adapter if the housing is damaged or if protections are triggered repeatedly.
