Voeding Seasonic Focus Gold 750 750W

FOCUS 750 Gold is a semi-modular ATX power supply designed to deliver reliable, efficient power for desktop systems, including compact builds. It features 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, a compact 140 mm depth chassis, a 120 mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fan with Seasonic S2FC fan control, and premium 105 °C Japanese capacitors to increase long‑term stability and lifespan.

Advantages

The semi-modular cable design provides essential permanent connectors while allowing removable peripheral cables for cleaner builds and easier cable management. High 80 PLUS Gold efficiency reduces wasted energy and operating costs. The 120 mm FDB fan combined with S2FC thermal control keeps noise low by adjusting fan speed to system load. Tight voltage regulation and a DC-to-DC converter design improve voltage stability and dynamic response for components on the 12 V rail.

Key specifications

• Form factor: ATX, compact 140 mm depth
• Wattage: 750 W
• Efficiency: 80 PLUS Gold (≥87 % at 20 % load, ≥90 % at 50 %, ≥87 % at 100 %)
• Fan: 120 mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) with Seasonic S2FC control
• Topology: DC-to-DC converter design
• Capacitors: Japanese capacitors rated 105 °C
• Cabling: Semi-modular (fixed main connectors, modular peripheral cables)

How to use

Install the FOCUS 750 Gold into a compatible ATX case, making sure the 140 mm depth fits your chassis. Connect the fixed 24‑pin and 8‑pin ATX power cables to the motherboard first, then attach modular cables for GPU, drives and peripherals as needed. Ensure proper airflow around the 120 mm fan and allow the Seasonic S2FC controller to adjust fan speed automatically according to system temperature and load. Use standard safety practices: power off and unplug the system before connecting or disconnecting cables.

Recommendations

Use this power supply in systems where high efficiency, compact size and stable 12 V output matter, such as gaming or workstation builds in smaller ATX cases. Pair with components whose combined peak power draw remains safely below 750 W and maintain good case airflow to maximize fan efficiency and component lifespan.
