Voeding Sony ACDP-160M 160W — vervangende voeding voor compatibele Sony-laptops

AC Adapter Sony ACDP-160M 160W is an external replacement power supply designed for compatible Sony laptops and devices that require a 160-watt adapter. The unit converts mains AC into regulated DC output to power the laptop and charge its battery, supporting continuous operation in home, office, or travel settings. It is intended as an original-equivalent replacement to restore mobility and device uptime when the original adapter is unavailable or defective.

Advantages

This 160W adapter delivers stable voltage and consistent current suitable for high-power laptop models, reducing the risk of unexpected shutdowns under load. Its external design keeps heat away from the laptop chassis, and the adapter includes protective features common for this class of products such as overcurrent and short-circuit protection to help preserve connected equipment. The adapter’s output rating makes it compatible with a range of notebooks and external devices that accept similar power input.

Suitable for

• Replacing a faulty or lost Sony laptop power adapter requiring 160W output
• Providing a spare power supply for travel or office use
• Powering compatible high-performance laptops during extended use or heavy workloads

Key specifications

• Output power: 160 W
• Adapter type: external AC-to-DC power supply
• Typical applications: laptops and compatible DC-powered devices requiring 160W
• Form factor: compact brick-style adapter with detachable or fixed DC cable (model dependent)

How to use

Connect the adapter to an appropriate mains outlet using the supplied mains lead, then attach the DC connector to the laptop power inlet until it seats securely. Ensure the laptop and adapter ratings match before use and check that the connector polarity and voltage meet device requirements. Operate the adapter on a stable, well-ventilated surface and avoid covering the adapter while in use to prevent heat buildup. If the laptop does not indicate charging, disconnect and inspect the connector and cable for damage before attempting again.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with compatible devices only and avoid exposing it to moisture or extreme temperatures. Regularly inspect the power cable and connector for wear; replace the adapter if visible damage or overheating occurs. For reliable operation, pair the adapter with devices whose power requirements do not exceed 160W and follow the laptop manufacturer’s guidance on power adapters.
