Accu Volt AGM OPTI 120Ah — 120 Ah absorbent glass mat loodaccu

Volt AGM OPTI 120Ah is a 120 Ah absorbent glass mat (AGM) lead-acid battery designed for deep-cycle and standby applications that require maintenance-free, sealed power. The battery delivers stable DC output in a spill-proof construction with vibration resistance and is intended for use in vehicles, marine systems, renewable energy storage, and backup power installations. Its AGM design confines electrolyte within glass mats, supporting safer installation and lower self-discharge compared with conventional flooded lead-acid batteries.

Advantages

The sealed AGM construction provides maintenance-free operation and eliminates the need for regular electrolyte checks. High cycle life and low self-discharge enable reliable deep-cycle performance for repeated charge and discharge cycles. The battery’s vibration resistance and spill-proof design make it suitable for mobile and marine environments. Stable DC output and compatibility with standard charging profiles simplify integration into backup, renewable energy and vehicle electrical systems.

How to use

Install the battery according to vehicle or equipment manufacturer instructions, ensuring correct polarity and secure mounting to minimize vibration. Use a charger compatible with AGM lead-acid batteries and follow recommended charging voltages and temperature compensation guidelines provided by the charging equipment. For stationary installations, place the battery in a well-ventilated, dry location away from direct heat sources. Periodically inspect terminals for corrosion and ensure electrical connections remain tight.

Recommendations

For optimal service life, charge the battery promptly after deep discharge, avoid prolonged storage in a discharged state, and maintain recommended charging parameters for AGM batteries. When used in renewable energy or backup systems, choose a charge controller or inverter/charger with an AGM or sealed lead-acid preset to ensure proper charging profiles.
