VOLTCRAFT DC-DC-spanningsomvormer 24V naar 12V 7-polige contactdoosadapter voor aanhanger (VC-16437135)

Connecting a 12V trailer to a 24V towing vehicle often leads to incompatibility and potential damage to the trailer's lighting system. The VOLTCRAFT VC-16437135 voltage reducer solves this by safely stepping down the vehicle's 24V DC to the 12V DC required by most trailers. This inline adapter plugs directly between the vehicle's 7-pin socket and the trailer's 7-pin plug, requiring no additional wiring or modifications.

Who is it for

This device is ideal for truck drivers, fleet operators, and anyone who regularly tows 12V trailers with 24V vehicles. It is particularly useful for commercial transport, agricultural machinery, and recreational towing where mixed voltage systems are common.

Main features

• Converts 24V DC input to 12V DC output for safe trailer operation
• 7-pin plug (ISO 1185, 24V) to 7-pin socket (ISO 1724, 12V) configuration
• Maximum output current of 10 A per pin, sufficient for standard trailer lights
• Built-in protection against short circuits, overloads, and reverse polarity
• Robust plastic housing designed for durability in demanding environments
• Simple plug-and-play installation with no tools required

Tips

Always verify the connector types on both your vehicle and trailer before purchase. While this adapter handles most standard lighting loads, check that your trailer's total current draw does not exceed 10 A per circuit. For long-term use, periodically inspect the connections for corrosion and ensure the adapter is secured to prevent vibration damage.
