Vrijstaand rack Inter-Tech SRB-6618 18U zwart 400 kg capaciteit

The Inter-Tech SRB-6618 is a freestanding open-frame 4-post rack that accommodates 18U of standard rack equipment. Finished in black steel with hollow side rails for cable entry and adjustable depth positions, it supports up to 400 kg of load and includes castor wheels for mobility. Weighing 23.2 kg, the rack is intended for organizing and securing network, server and AV components in small server rooms, wiring closets, or equipment corners.

Advantages

The open-frame 4-post design provides easy access to equipment for installation and maintenance while hollow side rails simplify cable routing. Variable side-rail spacing in depth allows flexible mounting of different devices and accessories. Castor wheels make the unit rollable for repositioning, and the steel construction gives stable support for up to 400 kg of equipment.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and lock the castors if present to prevent movement. Adjust the side rails to the appropriate depth position according to the grid, route cables through the hollow side rails, and mount rack equipment using standard 19-inch rack rails and fasteners. Distribute heavy components low in the rack to maintain stability and secure any loose cables to the rails to maintain airflow and organization.

Recommendations

For stable installation, position the rack on an even surface and mount heavier devices toward the bottom. Verify that the combined weight of installed equipment does not exceed the 400 kg capacity. Use proper rack-mount rails and fasteners for each device and ensure that cabling does not obstruct ventilation or access to ports.
