Vrijstaande kastventilatoreenheid Triton RAC-CH-X05-X3 6 ventilatoren grijs

The Triton Free standing cabinet fan unit RAC-CH-X05-X3 is a grey six-fan assembly designed for installation in free-standing cabinets to improve air circulation and temperature control. Fans can be mounted at the top or bottom of the cabinet and, depending on the unit type, installed from the inside or the outside. An exception applies to the tangential fan unit for Octagon cabinets, which attaches to the cabinet corner.

Advantages

The unit contains six fans to provide increased airflow compared with single-fan modules and is finished in grey to match typical cabinet interiors. Flexible mounting options allow installation at either the top or bottom of the cabinet and permit internal or external mounting depending on the model. The tangential variant offers a corner-mounted solution for Octagon cabinets where space or airflow direction requires it.

Suitable for

• Free-standing server, network or equipment cabinets requiring additional ventilation
• Cabinets in offices, data closets or residential installations needing improved airflow
• Enclosures where top, bottom or corner-mounted fan configurations are required

Secure the fan unit to the cabinet using compatible mounting points and fasteners. Connect the fan unit to the cabinet's power source or fan controller following the manufacturer's wiring instructions, ensuring correct voltage and polarity. After installation, verify airflow direction and test operation to confirm consistent rotation and cooling performance.

Recommendations

Install the unit in a cabinet location that allows unobstructed intake and exhaust paths. Use a dedicated fan controller or thermostat for automatic speed regulation where continuous temperature control is required. Periodically inspect and clean fan blades and filters to maintain efficient airflow and prolong component life.
