Vulpen Herlitz New Batik Freedom patroon paars wit

The Herlitz New Batik Freedom Cartridge Purple White is a fountain pen with a cartridge filling system and a two-tone purple and white body. It delivers blue ink writing suitable for everyday notes, schoolwork, and office tasks while combining a distinctive patterned finish with ergonomic shaping for comfortable handling during extended writing sessions.

Advantages

The cartridge system allows quick and clean ink replacement without the need for converters or bottled ink. A medium nib provides consistent line width and smooth ink flow for legible handwriting. The pen's balanced weight and contoured grip reduce hand fatigue, and the durable cap protects the nib and prevents accidental drying. The purple and white batik-inspired design offers a visually appealing look that distinguishes the pen from standard models.

Suitable for

• Students taking notes, completing assignments, or practicing handwriting
• Office use for signing documents and everyday writing tasks
• Personal correspondence, journals, and planners
• Gifts for teenagers or professionals who prefer a patterned, compact fountain pen

Key specifications

• Filling system: cartridge
• Ink colour: blue
• Body colour and finish: purple and white patterned (batik style)
• Nib type: medium, stainless steel
• Cap: snap or screw cap (protects nib and prevents drying)
• Weight and balance: lightweight, ergonomically shaped for everyday use

How to use

Unscrew or remove the cap, insert a compatible ink cartridge into the pen until it clicks into place, then replace the cap and press the nib to paper to begin writing. Store the pen horizontally or with the nib up when not in use to reduce the risk of leaks. If the pen is unused for an extended period, perform a quick ink flow test on scrap paper and replace the cartridge if flow is intermittent or dry.

Recommendations

Use standard proprietary ink cartridges recommended for the pen model to ensure reliable performance. For regular maintenance, wipe the nib with a soft, lint-free cloth after each use and avoid dropping the pen to preserve nib alignment. Replace cartridges promptly when ink runs low to prevent air exposure that may affect flow.
