Walimex slank MC UV 58mm ultraviolet-camerafilter zwart

The Walimex Slim MC UV 58mm filter is designed to reduce ultraviolet light and improve image clarity and color accuracy. Its slim profile and black finish minimise reflections and vignetting, making it especially suitable for wide-angle and landscape photography where reduced haziness and precise color rendering are important.

Advantages

The filter uses high-quality multi-coated glass mounted in a precisely manufactured metal frame, offering good optical characteristics and durability. An internal thread allows stacking of additional filters while the approximately 6 mm slim construction keeps the filter lightweight and reduces the risk of vignetting on wide-angle lenses. The filter is supplied in a protective case that helps extend its service life.

Suitable for

• Landscape photography
• High-altitude and mountain photography
• Wide-angle lenses to reduce vignetting
• General outdoor photography where UV reduction improves clarity

How to use

Screw the 58 mm Walimex Slim MC UV filter onto the front thread of a compatible lens until it is secure. If needed, use the internal thread to attach additional screw-in filters. The filter can remain on the lens during shooting to reduce UV-induced haziness; remove it for stacking incompatible accessories or when using lens hoods that interfere with the slim filter.

Recommendations

Clean the filter with a soft microfibre cloth and appropriate lens cleaner before use. Store the filter in its protective case when not in use to avoid scratches and prolong its lifespan. Check compatibility with your lens mount and wide-angle setup to ensure minimal vignetting.
