The QOLTEC Wallbox EV charging station Type 2 22 kW is an AC wall-mounted charger designed for electric and hybrid vehicles. It delivers up to 22 kW of three-phase charging power through an integrated Type 2 connector with a fixed 5 m cable. The unit features an LCD display for real-time status and configuration, and includes two RFID cards for user authentication. The charger supports installation in private, public and commercial environments and is compatible with hotel system integration for controlled access and billing.

Advantages

The compact wallbox provides three-phase 22 kW output to shorten charging time compared with single-phase chargers and supports standard Type 2 interfaces used by most modern EVs. The fixed 5 m cable ensures convenient reach for vehicle sockets without additional cabling, while the LCD gives clear feedback on charging status, power and error messages. Integrated RFID access control allows authorized use, suitable for shared or commercial locations. The device is built for wall mounting and prepared for integration with hotel systems for centralized management.

How to use

Install the wallbox on a suitable wall with access to a three-phase electrical supply and earth connection in accordance with local electrical regulations. After professional installation and power commissioning, connect the Type 2 plug to the vehicle charging inlet. Use the LCD to monitor charging status, available power and any fault indications. Present one of the supplied RFID cards to the reader to authorize charging sessions when access control is enabled. Charging will stop automatically when the vehicle battery is full or when the user terminates the session via the vehicle or the wallbox interface.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the installation is performed by a certified electrician and that the supply protection (breakers and RCD) matches the local code and the charger's rated current. Use the wallbox in locations protected from direct exposure to heavy weather; if installed outdoors, provide an appropriate shelter. Regularly check the cable and connector for wear and clean the connector contacts according to manufacturer guidance. Integrate the unit with a hotel or site management system only after confirming compatibility and required communication protocols.
