Wandcontactdoos ShiverPeaks 74221 — UAE 1x8 aansluiting met metalen frame

ShiverPeaks 74221 — UAE 1x8 outlet with metal frame is a recessed wall socket designed to provide a compact, framed connection point for UAE-style audiovisual and data cabling. The unit integrates a single row of eight UAE ports in a single-gang form factor with a robust metal mounting frame, making it suitable for structured cabling installations in residential, office or commercial interiors where multiple UAE connections are required in one location.

Advantages

The recessed design keeps cabling tidy and reduces protrusion from the wall while the metal frame ensures secure mounting and long-term mechanical stability. The single 1x8 UAE arrangement consolidates multiple ports into a compact footprint, saving wall space and simplifying device connection. Compatibility with standard UAE connectors enables straightforward integration with audiovisual equipment, telephone systems and low-voltage data wiring.

Suitable for

• Home AV installations requiring multiple UAE ports in a single location
• Office workstations or meeting rooms with centralized UAE cabling
• Commercial spaces such as conference centers or hospitality outlets needing framed UAE outlets
• Structured cabling points where a recessed, durable UAE socket is preferred

Key specifications

• Form factor: recessed (flush-mounted) wall socket, single-gang footprint
• Connector layout: single row with eight UAE ports (1x8)
• Frame material: metal mounting frame for enhanced rigidity
• Compatibility: standard UAE (RJ-type) connectors for audiovisual, telephony and low-voltage data
• Application: indoor use for residential, office and commercial structured cabling

How to use

Install the recessed UAE socket into a suitably sized single-gang wall box following local electrical and building regulations. Secure the metal frame to the wall box using appropriate screws and ensure the module sits flush with the finished wall surface. Terminate the incoming UAE cables to the rear of each port according to the wiring scheme for the intended application, and test each connection with compatible devices to verify continuity and signal quality.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, route UAE cabling away from high-voltage mains wiring and maintain proper bend radii; use shielded cable where electromagnetic interference may be present. Confirm connector type and wiring standard before installation and perform post-installation testing of audio or data links.
