The Extralink 9U 600x450 wall-mounted rack cabinet is a compact solution for mounting networking equipment, servers and CCTV components in offices, server rooms and control rooms. The enclosure is made from cold-rolled steel and the front door features a tempered glass pane that can be opened to either the left or right side. Vertical mounting rails are clearly marked with height units and the cabinet’s total height is 505 mm. The cabinet ceiling includes two openings for fan installation and an additional conduit for cable routing. Side panels can be removed easily using snap fasteners; locks and keys are supplied.

Advantages

The cabinet offers a 9U mounting capacity in a compact 600 x 450 mm footprint, supporting neat installation of rack-mounted devices while saving wall space. Its tempered glass front door provides visibility of installed equipment while the cold-rolled steel body ensures structural durability. Clearly marked vertical rails simplify device positioning, and removable side panels with snap fasteners enable quick access for maintenance. Provision for fan installation on the ceiling improves airflow when required, and the supplied lock increases physical security.

How to use

Mount the cabinet securely to a suitable load-bearing wall following local building codes and the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Install rack-mounted devices onto the vertical rails using standard 19" mounting hardware; align devices with the clearly marked U positions. Route cables through the provided conduit openings and use the removable side panels for access during installation or maintenance. If additional cooling is required, fit fans into the two ceiling openings before powering devices.

Recommendations

Verify the total weight of installed equipment does not exceed the cabinet’s supported load and ensure proper ventilation; install fans if devices generate significant heat. Use the included lock to restrict physical access and organise cables to avoid obstructing airflow or access to equipment.
