Wandplaat GIRA E2 wit, thermoplast schroefloos, 80,8×80,8×9,3 mm

GIRA E2 White is a screwless wall plate made of thermoplastic, sized 80.8 × 80.8 × 9.3 mm and supplied as a single piece. It is intended to cover switches or sockets in residential and commercial interiors, providing a slim, smooth white finish that keeps installations discreet and easy to maintain. The Gira E2 range is designed for flush-mounted installation in dry rooms to IP20; selected functions (switches, push buttons and socket outlets with hinged covers) can be adapted for water-protected use in humid rooms to IP44 with special sealing sets.

Advantages

The thermoplastic construction offers impact resistance and easy cleaning, while the screwless design ensures a neat, uninterrupted surface. Its compact dimensions and single-piece supply simplify installation and replacement. Compatibility with GIRA E2 functions and available sealing sets allows flexible use in both dry (IP20) and water-protected humid (IP44) environments where applicable.

How to use

Install the GIRA E2 White plate over a compatible flush-mounted switch or socket frame according to the mounting instructions for the device in use. Position the plate and press it into place to achieve the screwless finish; ensure electrical connections and insulating covers are fitted before mounting. To obtain IP44 water protection for supported switches, push buttons or socket outlets with hinged covers, fit the corresponding GIRA sealing set as specified by the manufacturer.

Recommendations

Use the wall plate only with compatible GIRA E2 mechanism frames and apply the manufacturer’s sealing sets where humid-room protection (IP44) is required. Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents to preserve the finish.
