How to use

Before installation, switch off the circuit at the breaker and verify that power to the switch is disconnected. Remove the existing cover plate by unscrewing the mounting screws, then align the Busch-Jaeger single-gang cover over the switch mechanism. Secure the plate with the appropriate screws, ensuring it sits flush against the wall. After fitting, restore power and check that the switch operates correctly. If uncertain about electrical work, consult a qualified electrician.

Recommendations

The plate is intended for indoor use in dry environments; avoid exposure to direct sunlight or harsh chemicals to preserve colour and surface finish. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Ensure compatibility with the specific Busch-Jaeger switch model before purchase when aesthetic or cutout alignment is critical.
