How to use

Turn off the circuit power before beginning work. Remove the existing plate by unscrewing the fixing screws and gently pulling the plate away from the wall to expose the mechanism. Align the new Merten single-gang wall plate over the switch or socket mechanism, ensuring openings match the module shape, then secure it with the existing or supplied screws until flush with the wall surface. Restore power and verify correct operation of the switch or socket.

Recommendations

For safe and durable installation, use the plate in dry indoor environments and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or high heat sources that may affect the thermoplastic over time. Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. If uncertain about wiring or compatibility, consult a qualified electrician.
