Wandschakelaar-afdekplaat JUNG CD 594-0 GR grijs, thermoplast, schroefloos design

JUNG CD 594-0 GR is a grey, screwless cover plate for wall switches manufactured from durable thermoplastic. Designed to create a clean, frameless look, this cover plate snaps onto compatible switch mechanisms and conceals mounting screws for a minimalist appearance. The smooth surface is easy to wipe clean and resists everyday household dirt, making it suitable for both residential and commercial interiors. The design allows for individual cuttings or drilling holes to accommodate cable routing or accessory fittings during installation.

Advantages

The screwless design provides a seamless visual finish that conceals fixings and reduces visible gaps around the switch. Thermoplastic construction offers impact resistance and low maintenance while maintaining consistent colour and surface texture. Snap-on fixing simplifies installation and removal without tools, and the ability to make individual cuttings or drill holes adds flexibility for customised installations. The grey colour blends with neutral interiors and offers a discreet appearance for a variety of room styles.

How to use

Fit the matching switch mechanism into the wall box and secure it according to the mechanism manufacturer's instructions. Position the cover plate over the mechanism and press it firmly until the snap-on fixing engages and the plate sits flush with the wall. If customised openings are required, perform cuttings or drill holes before final installation, using appropriate tools and safety precautions. To remove the plate, gently pry at the designated release points or follow the mechanism instructions to avoid damaging the snap-on clips.

Recommendations

For best results, confirm compatibility between the cover plate and the installed switch mechanism before cutting or drilling. Use non-abrasive cleaning agents and a soft cloth to preserve the surface finish. When performing customised modifications, mark and measure carefully and use suitable drill bits or cutting tools; ensure power is turned off at the consumer unit before any work on electrical components.
