Waterblok Alphacool Core 1 Aurora messing koper nikkel transparant wit 72mm

The Alphacool Core 1 Aurora is an all-metal CPU water block made from brass with a nickel-plated copper base and transparent white top accents. Designed for liquid cooling systems, this 72 mm water block features an advanced 3D-Jetplate and a cross-slot coolant distribution channel to manage rising waste heat from modern desktop processors while providing full coverage for large CPU IHS surfaces. The unit includes nickel-plated connectors and a revised mounting system that simplifies installation, and the Aurora models add discreet 5V aRGB illumination to complement system aesthetics.

Advantages

The Core 1 combines an industrial-grade 3D-Jetplate with a proven cross-slot distribution to ensure even coolant flow and efficient heat transfer. Its brass housing with nickel-plated connectors and an enlarged nickel-plated copper base deliver durable construction and full CPU coverage. The updated mounting system reduces the number of screws and streamlines assembly, while the transparent white Aurora option includes 5V aRGB lighting for visual integration.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops for desktop CPUs
• High-performance and overclocked processors that require improved heat dissipation
• Systems where aesthetic lighting and transparent components are desired

How to use

Pre-assemble the backplate on compatible Intel sockets using the four spacers provided. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the CPU heatspreader, place the corresponding mounting frame onto the water block, then position the block on the CPU and secure it by fastening the four nuts onto the spacers. Connect the water block to your loop using appropriate fittings and ensure correct flow direction and leak-free connections before powering the system. Follow standard liquid cooling maintenance practices, including periodic inspection of fittings and coolant levels.

Recommendations

Use high-quality fittings and compatible tubing sizes to ensure leak-free installation. For optimal cooling, include a properly sized pump and radiator in the loop and verify that the copper base fully covers the CPU heatspreader. If using the Aurora variant, connect the 5V aRGB header to a compatible controller or motherboard header and configure lighting per the controller's instructions.
