Watercool Heatkiller V Full-Cover-GPU-waterkoeler voor AMD RX 6800/6900XT, ARGB, Acetal + Nickel

Watercool Heatkiller V full-cover GPU water block for AMD RX 6800/6900XT, ARGB, Acetal + Nickel is a full-cover liquid-cooling block engineered for reference-layout AMD RX 6800 and RX 6900XT graphics cards. The block combines an acetal top with a nickel-plated copper cold plate to transfer heat efficiently from the GPU core, VRAM and VRM components into a custom loop. Integrated ARGB lighting provides configurable illumination for system aesthetics while the full-cover design ensures direct contact with all primary heat sources on the PCB.

Advantages

The Heatkiller V offers precise thermal contact through a nickel-plated copper cold plate, improving heat dissipation compared with air cooling. Its acetal top provides chemical resistance and compact styling, and the full-cover layout cools GPU, memory chips and voltage regulation modules in a single unit. ARGB lighting adds system customization without affecting thermal performance. The block is intended for installation in custom liquid-cooling loops and supports common G1/4" fittings for loop integration.

Suitable for

• High-performance gaming systems using AMD RX 6800 or RX 6900XT reference PCB cards
• Workstations requiring lower GPU temperatures and stable VRM operation
• Custom liquid-cooling loops where full-cover GPU cooling is desired
• PC builds incorporating ARGB lighting and visible coolant routing

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Reference PCB layout for AMD RX 6800 and RX 6900XT
• Cold plate material: Nickel-plated copper for improved thermal conductivity
• Top material: Acetal (black) for chemical resistance and finish
• Cooling coverage: Full-cover — GPU core, VRAM and VRM areas
• Lighting: Integrated ARGB with standard 3-pin/5V header compatibility
• Fittings: G1/4" threaded ports for standard liquid-cooling fittings

How to use

Prepare the graphics card by removing the original cooler and cleaning the GPU, memory and VRM surfaces of thermal paste and residue. Place appropriate thermal pads on memory and VRM areas according to the block's instructions, then align the Heatkiller V over the PCB so the cold plate contacts the GPU core and other heat sources. Secure the block with the supplied mounting hardware and torque recommendations to ensure even pressure. Connect ARGB cable to a compatible 5V header or controller and route inlet/outlet fittings into your existing custom loop. Leak-test the loop before powering the full system.

Recommendations

Use high-quality thermal pads that match the thickness specified by the manufacturer and apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste on the GPU core. Verify compatibility with your card's exact PCB revision and follow standard leak-test procedures for at least several hours before normal operation. For optimal results, combine the block with a well-balanced pump, radiator capacity suitable for your system heat load, and corrosion-inhibiting coolant.
